LISTA President Jose Marquez first visited Cabarete in the spring of 2004 where he experience first hand the work Project Dream has been doing in the Batey region of Dominican Republic, there he pledged to help Project Dream’s agenda by providing technology and training in an English curriculum. LISTA has donated computers in the past however we felt we needed to do more for the Project Dream and the community of Cabarete.

As professionals we bring many things to the table especially knowledge share so we have decided to help develop the community by bring other LISTA members and community partners to help us in this mission to explore possibilities, develop a plan of action and help finish building a school house and inaugurate the 2nd LISTA Tech Center of Excellence Teachers Training Center. This 4 day humanitarian mission will give the LISTA contingency an opportunity to assit train the teachers of Project Dream to implement technology in their classroom and give Dream schools a much needed face lift.
