Dominican Republic Small Business/Workforce Summit

As the Dominican Population continues to grow in the United States, it is clear that a significant part of the future workforce will be Dominican.  For the economic stability and sustainability of Cabarete, it is imperative to further develop the skills of Dominican Students in order for them to change their future and it is only through technology that we can make this happen and give an opportunity for them to be highly skilled workers and young professionals in the future of the region.

Corporate leaders, Hispanic non-profit executives from across the country will discuss Technology usage in the classroom best practices, and look to develop strategies for the development of skilled workers, and professionals for a ways to better prepare the Cabarete communities’ population to become a viable part of future workforce.

This summit will be the first of its kind and has already attracted significant interest from local and national organizations across the country. There is a sense of anticipation of what viable solutions, recommendations or best practices may come out of this summit with so many Hispanic experts participating.
